With a recent Master’s Degree in Fine Arts from Goldsmith’s University, London, Aysha has already made a remarkable impression in Bahrain by being the youngest winner of the country’s coveted Al Dana Prize, the highest honor the country bestows on its artists during the annual Fine Art Exhibition.
Aysha Al Moayyed’s work is inherently experimental and encompasses drawing, photography and installation. Central to her work is an exploration of Bahrain – it’s society and transformation of the built and natural environment. The artist has exhibited in Bahrain and the UK. She participated in the 15/15 exhibition with work commissioned by the Sheikh Ebrahim Centre.
